After thousands of miles Tenacious is back from the far side of the world this summer.
She is sticking close to her home port of Southampton for a few months before going deep sea again....but when we say close, its a loose term.
Ideal tall ship tasters for those new to square rig or sailing generally, her 4 and 5 day voyages will probably be popular with her regular sailors too. Not everyone can get to the Falklands or Melbourne for a voyage but there is no excuse if you are based in the UK, not to start a voyage in Dartmouth, Southampton, Portsmouth or London.
Battle of the Barques 2018
Its been a year or so since the last race between Lord Nelson and Tenacious so perhaps the Tenacious crew have learned a few new tricks from the ever competitive Aussies and Kiwis to get the best out of their sails and crews.
This voyage tends to fill up quickly so pin your alligances to the mast and sign up as race crew on Tenacious or the Nellie (Lord Nelson).
After a short UK season and a well deserved refit Tenacious will migrate South for the winter to warmer climes to Lisbon and Seville (up a long river) in Andulucia. If you like a challenge in November on a well found tall ship then the 12 day Bay of Biscay Crossing from Brest in France to Lisbon will usually give the big wave chasers a thrill.
